Introducing Chukua Selfie: A campaign to encourage self-testing among the youth and educate on safe sex practices. Starting out with a leaked out video of a young campus girl frustrated with her cheating boyfriend, we created the biggest scandal that asked all women to 'close shop' led by Nairobi's finest sex siren Huddah Monroe, until men start getting tested. This created a fiery gender based conversation online that attracted top-level influencers and celebrities, all set on sharing their take.
results
We got over 280 million impressions, 4.8 million in reach on Facebook, with over 2.8 million views of our musical ad on youtube. Beyond the conversations, we go the youth to start openly talking about their sexual health, being more accountable of their sexual health with our kits selling out in multiple store. Chukua selfie became a trend ingrained in Kenya's youth culture!
