UHAI EASHRI
UHAI EASHRI is an activist fund supporting LGBTI and sex worker communities across Africa. They’ve helped overturn repressive laws, build health services, and fund grassroots movements in countries where visibility often comes with risk.
When they came to us, their website was overflowing with content, making it hard for people to find what mattered most. They also wanted their annual report to feel alive, something that could carry the power and courage behind their work, not just document their stories.

We built a digital experience that mirrored the spirit of the people they support — bold, human, and unapologetic. The new website was restructured to simplify access to information and highlight the real stories driving change. For the annual report, we used the theme “Labels take away who we are.” We tore off identifiers and revealed raw, unfiltered visuals that showed intrusion, erasure, and resilience.
We shaped the story around three clear calls:
Be the Voice. Hear the Voice. Echo the Voice
Each one invited readers to act, listen, and stand with those fighting to simply exist.

The result was a platform that felt alive. They didn’t need another corporate strategy site; We gave them a platform that triggered objective callouts and emotions.
Through a simple but effective approach, we made UHAI’s stories easier to find and harder to forget. The project gave UHAI a voice that looked and sounded just as powerful as the work they do every day.
